AutoHomi ("we", "our", or "us") operates the AutoHomi service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your personal data.

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Property and vehicle data: Details about the homes, vehicles, and appliances you add to track (e.g. make, model, year, purchase date, address). You choose what to enter.
• Notification preferences: Whether you prefer email or SMS reminders and how far in advance to be notified.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the interface, collected via cookies and server logs.
• Payment data: Billing is handled by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). We receive a record of the transaction but never store your full card details.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the AutoHomi service.
• Send maintenance reminders and service notifications you configured.
• Process subscription payments and manage your account.
• Respond to support requests and inquiries.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Analyze usage trends to improve product features.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.

AutoHomi uses essential cookies to manage your login session. We may also use analytics cookies (e.g. for aggregate usage statistics). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Payment processor:Stripe, Inc. for billing. Subject to Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements: When required to comply with a valid legal order, protect rights, or prevent harm.

We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax purposes.

AutoHomi is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is completely secure; in the event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or a notice within the app before material changes take effect. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
